Mr. Ruiz’s specialties are planting design, grading design, and irrigation. He is responsible for design details and product selection that bring ideas into reality. His designs are easily implementable as he understands the nursery trade and what contractors face in supplying designs. He also brings a broad knowledge of plants and vegetation types suitable to niche climates, such as alpine and desert habitats, especially xeriscape and native landscapes.. His designs seamlessly transition between natural areas and the created landscape. His has helped clients confidently forge new directions in their landscape.

In addition to using AutoCAD, Mr. Ruiz uses Adobe Photoshop and other graphic rendering and visualization software. He is fluent in Spanish and spent several years working in the nursery business, developing a deep understanding of plant selection and landscape installation.
